Welcome .

 I built this site out of a need for information on the subject of post WWII shelter pieces and Zelts , very little info is out there on this subject and this website although not perfect will try to sort out as much as possible .

For those who are asking "Whats a zelt/Shelter" , these were Military issued items that were basically a big piece of camo cloth that could be used in many ways , poncho's,tents ,ground sheets are just a few of their uses , you can even assemble many together to make some very big tents .
