Czech Shelters

 The first shelter is a version introduced right after WWII , the sumpftarn is very similar if not identical to some German WWII patterns , however the material is different , it uses wood toggle type buttons ,some on this example have been replaced with black plastic

This Shelter was introduced in the 50's and may still be in limited use today .

 Below is a picture of the many Variations of the above type of Zelt , Steve Grammont and i were discussing Czech Zelts , he has a much bigger collection then I and decided to look at all of his and made these observations , Thanks Steve for taking the time to do this .

Described from top to bottom .

Pre-1952 -> hard edges, no white
1952 -> added white, mostly covered solid and heavier rain strokes
1953 -> blurred edges, some white and slightly less heavy rain  
strokes.  Maybe brighter colors (could be production variation).
1954 -> combines 1953 version with pre-1952's hard edges and lighter  
rain strokes.
